Students returning to campus at the start of the year is always an exciting period. Despite their enthusiasm, Jewish students face many challenges as a result of the year’s beginning hostile activities, such as the boycott of the Sydney Festival, Whoopi Goldberg’s remarks, and other antisemitic incidents.
